In mid-February, the synodal team was expanded with the addition of two new members – Jana Fenclová and Marek Lev. Their arrival brings new ideas and experiences that can enrich the team's further work.

On Saturday, March 8, a group of twenty delegates gathered in Ledce near Plzeň, along with Hanka and Martin, for a full-day event provocatively titled "Manual of Enthusiasm," from which many returned with encouragement for this year's shared journey. We are including at least one photo at the top of the article.

After its initial phase, during which new areas for resolution were proposed and written materials were finalized, the "active" phase of consultations across the entire diocese was launched on Thursday, March 13. During this phase, delegates, together with parishioners, reflect on specific areas that are important for the development of the diocese. These meetings serve as a space for open dialogue, searching for common paths, and as inspiration for the work of the synod delegates.

The outcomes of these meetings will be processed by the synod delegates and will serve as a basis for their discernment in the fall about which direction to take in the diocese.

An important aspect of all these consultations is listening to the voices of all believers in the midst of prayer, so that the synodal process is not merely formal, but genuinely reflects not only the needs and expectations of all people in the diocese but also the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, everyone was invited by Bishop Tomáš to personal or communal prayer regarding the suggestions for daily quiet moments and to celebrate penitential prayer vigils.
